Culture and Leisure
Barcelona is a city with a rich culture offer, extensive and varied, if not almost incomprehensible. Both the citizen and the casual visitor they find a city that is culturally restless, active and multifaceted, which links classicism and its history with vanguard and modernity always in a state of regeneration.
The urbanism of Barcelona itself offers many attractions to visitors with cultural concerns: the old town, with medieval paved Roman road beneath our feet, which includes the Gothic Quarter and the Ribera District, the oldest city, streets, monasteries and churches, nineteenth century squares, courtyards and noble palaces in streets like Princesa or Montcada and the Church of Santa Maria del Mar.
La Plaza Real or the colorful Ramblas, the Liceu, the modernist Palau de la Música and the wonders of Gaudí in La Pedrera, Casa Batlló and Park Güell are also the inevitable toll on the discovery of a unique city that offers arts, history and culture in all its routes.
The number of museums, theaters, live music, film festivals and performing arts, is also overwhelming.
